Dashaun Wesley was walking down the street in New York's West Village neighbourhood inwhen a crowd of dancers trailing a man carrying a boombox caught his eye.

But he also could never have Auwtralia meeting someone like Bhenji Ra, the powerhouse artist who brought performers from AAustralia marginalised communities together and formed Australia's own ballroom scene.
